GTMagic is primarily a component that acts as a framework can be used externally to develop extensions.
GTMagic History
When you design several templates in Joomla, you realize that many things are always the same. Moreover, one would seem a complete waste of time to make designs so similar, one after another.
That was how two years ago, thinking of a project on MultiProviders for Joomla, it strikes me that the first problem by creating a site quickly, we can give a proper appearance with a mouse. Thus was born the middle of 2008 GTMagic, even under another name. By the end of 2009 the project was already functional and creating a consistent look to the uploaded image. On September 2010 I recover and start to get new features and improve their first skeleton design or theme.
On November 21, 2010 version 0.6.0 comes with GTMagic documented code and a series of articles designed to encourage developers to use this new extension.
